MADISON, Wis. -- Fourth-ranked Wisconsin (18-2, 10-2 B1G) wraps up a four-match road swing with contests at Northwestern (10-13, 5-7) and Iowa (3-19, 1-11) this weekend.  The Badgers travel to Evanston, Illinois, on Friday to face the Wildcats in Welsh-Ryan Arena. First serve is 7 p.m. and will be streamed on B1G+. The road trip continues on Saturday when Wisconsin faces Iowa from Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa. 1. MISSING THE MARK: Wisconsin dropped just its second match of the season at then-No. 12 Purdue, 3-1, on Sunday. The Boilermakers are the first team to hit over .200 against the Badgers this season while the Badgers hit below .200 for the second time this year, both losses. UW also failed to score a service ace for the first time this year.Â
2. YOU DIG IT?:Â Fifth-year senior
Lauren Barnes has double-figure digs in the last 10 matches in a row, averaging 5.39 digs per set over the stretch. The 5-foot-6 libero had a career-high 33 digs at Purdue on Sunday. In Big Ten matches, Barnes leads the conference with 4.93 digs per set.

3. DOMINATING DEFENSE:Â Behind Barnes, the Badgers back-row defense has been impressive the last three matches, averaging 20.17 digs per match over the span. UW had 90 digs in five sets vs. Penn State, 66 digs in three sets at Nebraska and 86 digs in four sets at Purdue on Sunday. Barnes has 20-plus digs in all three matches, including a career-high 33 digs at Purdue to average 6.83 digs per set over the last three contests. Â Â
4. I'LL HAVE AÂ DOUBLE-DOUBLE, PLEASE:Â Fifth-year senior
Sydney Hilley has three-straight double-doubles with 65 assists and 18 digs vs. Penn State; 37 assists and 16 digs at Nebraska; and 49 assists and 16 digs at Purdue. The 6-foot setter is averaging 12.58 assists and 4.17 digs over the stretch. Hilley continues to lead the nation with 12.11 assists per set.

5. HISTORY IN THE MAKING:  Fifth-year senior
Dana Rettke is on track to break the UW career record for total blocks. The 6-foot-8 middle blocker has 670 blocks, needing 13 blocks to break the UW mark of 682 stuffs set by Heather Dodaro (1994-97).
6. SCOUTING THE TEAMS: The Badgers will play the Northwestern Wildcats for the first time this season on Friday and again less than two weeks later. The Wildcats are currently 10-13 on the season and 5-7 in Big Ten play. Junior outside hitter Temi Thomas-Ailara leads the team with 3.80 kills per set, followed by redshirt junior outside hitter Hanna Lesiak with 2.62 kills per set. Desiree Becker, a junior middle blocker, has a team-best 0.98 blocks per set while senior libero Megan Miller leads the Wildcats with 3.00 digs per set.Â
Since being swept by the Badgers in early October, the Iowa Hawkeyes have secured a win against Michigan State for a current record of 3-19, 1-11 in conference play. Senior right side hitter Courtney Buzzerio leads the team with 3.98 kills per set, followed by freshman outside hitter Addie VanderWeide with 2.38 kills per set. Hannah Clayton, a senior middle blocker, leads the Hawkeyes with 0.50 blocks per set while junior defensive specialist/libero Mari Hinkle has a team-best 2.81 digs per set.Â
