12 wrestlers set to compete in East Lansing
MADISON, Wis. — Wrestling tournament season is finally here after more than 18 months and Wisconsin wrestling fans will finally get to see several Badgers compete at the Michigan State University Open in East Lansing, Michigan.
Competing both attached and unattached, 12 Wisconsin wrestlers are slated to take the mats on Saturday.
Kyle Burwick and Drew Scharenbrock will be competing attached for Wisconsin, while 10 Badgers — six returning wrestlers and four new freshmen — will be competing unattached for the Wisconsin Regional Training Center.
Cody Anderson, Peter Christensen, Tyler Dow, Aidan Medora, Kevin Meicher and Gavin Model will join freshmen Graham Calhoun, Brooks Empey, Andrew Sanders and Jack Severin in the MSU Open brackets.
