Do you have any golf superstitions?
I pay attention to which side of my ball mark is "making putts" throughout my round and then make sure I am using the side that is doing well.
What is your favorite golf memory?
This question got me in my feels, I have so many to count. Top two are winning an exemption spot into the Symetra Tour event in Milwaukee with my dad (professional golfer Steve Stricker) on the bag and then playing in that tournament with my mom (former Badger golfer Nicki (Tiziani) Stricker) on the bag or watching my dad and mom win the Senior U.S. Open in 2019.
Why did you choose to attend Wisconsin?
Growing up 20 minutes from campus, I grew up a Badger. It was a dream to become one ever since I can remember. My family would go to basketball and football games all the time and I couldn't imagine myself cheering for anyone else. It was also a special thing for me to play golf for Wisconsin because of the history of badger golf in my family. My grandfather (Dennis Tiziani) was the men's and women's coach when my mom and uncle played on the teams. This place is just home to me and there is so much to love I didn't want to leave.Â
What are you looking forward to in the upcoming season?
To go into battle and compete alongside my teammates with the W on our chests! Competing with my teammates!!! It feels like forever since we have done that and, for me, this is the last time I get to compete alongside them. There is a newfound appreciation and gratitude for what we get to do. We are all so ready and all have been putting in a lot of work during this break. It is such an honor to wear the W and we just can't wait to do it again.
