
Badgers host pair of matches this weekend

Wisconsin welcomes Hawkeyes and Huskers to Nielsen
MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's tennis team is scheduled to host a pair of Big Ten opponents this weekend, beginning Friday with Iowa followed by Nebraska on Sunday. Friday's match will begin at 3 p.m. CT at Nielsen Tennis Stadium, while Sunday's match is set for an 11 a.m. start.

- Maintaining the Lead: The Badgers started their Big Ten season on high note, defeating border rival Minnesota last weekend, 5-2. This weekend, Wisconsin looks to earn two more valuable conference wins begin putting together a win streak.
- Scouting Iowa: Wisconsin leads the all-time series against Iowa, 43-10, and hasn't lost to the Hawkeyes since 2017. The Hawkeyes are currently 1-1 in the Big Ten, coming off a 6-1 loss to Northwestern last weekend.
- Scouting Nebraska: Nebraska currently has a 1-1 record in the Big Ten after defeating Illinois last weekend, 5-2. The Badgers are looking to tie up the all-time series against the Huskers, who currently hold an 8-7 edge. Wisconsin last faced Nebraska in April of 2019, as the Badgers earned a 4-3 win in that most recent meeting.
