Hosack brings home a medal

After the third day of Big Ten's, Hosack places third in 200 free
MINNEAPOLIS - After another solid day of swimming, the women's swim team stayed put in fifth place after the third day of competition in the Big Ten Championships.
The most dominant event of the day for the Badgers was the 200 Free, where Lillie Hosack, Alana Palmer, Julia Stupar and Emily Ecker all advanced to the finals. Hosack would go on to medal in the event taking third with a time of 1:45.42, followed by Palmer in 11th (1:47.29), Stupar in 23rd (1:49.56) and Ecker in 24th (1:49.60).
The Badgers currently sit in fifth place with 327 points. Competition will continue tomorrow with the 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 Free Relay and women's platform diving. Follow along and watch at btnplus.com

Swimmers also advanced to finals in the 100 Fly including Isabel Lampre who finsihed 12th (53.15), Alex Reddington who finished 16th (54.43) and Kaylyn Schoof who finished 19th (54.17). Emma Lasecki was the lone Badger to advanced to finals for the 400 IM, she placed 15th with a time of 4:17.06.Let's go LILLIE! 💪

The Big Ten diving championships also started today wih the women's 3M and men's 1M. On the women's side Kit Greenberg took 29th (241.70) and Alex Barnes placed 43rd (132.40). Tazman Abramowicz led the men's divers placing 18th (279.85) followed by Daniel Muller in 22nd (265.80) and Braden Rumpit in 30th (227.25).Almost that time!
