Here are five things to know before the teams take the ice.

1. LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin traveled to St. Cloud State to take on the Huskies and ended the series with a sweep that included and 10-0 shutout. Across both games, the Badgers scored 14 goals, including hat tricks from both Brette Pettet and Daryl Watts, a collective three goals for Sophie Shirley and two for Lacey Eden. Wisconsin extended it's winning streak against St. Cloud State to 27 games.

2. DANG, DARYL: After being named WCHA Forward of the Week back-to-back in January, Daryl Watts was named the WCHA Forward of the Month. The Toronto, Ontario native posted an NCAA-best 18 points (10 goals, eight assists) over the month and scored her 100th career point. she put up a three-point weekend against Ohio State and scored six points in one game against St. Cloud State.
3. CREAM OF THE CROP: With Wisconsin ranked No. 1 and Minnesota ranked No. 2, this marks the 13th and 14th straight meeting between the teams where one has been ranked No. 1.

The two Border Battle programs have combined to win 12 NCAA championships, 18 WCHA regular-season titles and 15 WCHA tournament crowns.

4. LAST TIME AGAINST MINNESOTA: Wisconsin swept then ranked No. 1 Minnesota when the teams met at LaBahn early in January. Finishing the first game of the series with a 5-0 shutout and the second with a 6-3 win, the Badgers were able to reclaim the No. 1 ranking and have not let go since. In the series, Watts put up three goals while Pettet and Britta Curl put two apiece to lead the Badgers. Goaltender Kennedy Blair allowed three goals all weekend and made 53 saves.
5. UP NEXT: The Badgers return home next weekend to host Bemidji State for the first meeting between the teams this season. This will be Wisconsin's first time playing home since the Border Battle on January 15 and 16. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. for both Friday and Saturday.
