Badgers set for Big Ten Rematches

Wisconsin faces No. 49 Iowa and No. 40 Nebraska
MADISON, Wis -- The newly-ranked, No. 49 Wisconsin women's tennis team will compete in a pair of ranked road rematches this weekend, facing No. 49 Iowa on Friday at 4 p.m. CT, followed by No. 40 Nebraska on Sunday at noon.
- Four For Four: The No.49 Badgers (7-4 overall, 6-3 Big Ten) are on a four-match winning streak after sweeping a pair of road matches last weekend against Indiana and Purdue. No. 1 singles star, Ava Markham, solidified her four-match win streak by defeating both of her opponents last weekend in straight sets. As a result, Markham was named Big Ten Player of the Week last Tuesday. In doubles, Markham and Antonela Stoica are also on a four-match win streak after sweeping their matches last weekend.
- Scouting Iowa: The No.49 Hawkeyes tie the Badgers in rankings and conference wins with a 6-4 record in the Big Ten. The Badgers are looking to pick up a win after falling 4-3 to the Hawkeyes in their first conference match back in February.
- Scouting Nebraska: The No. 40 Huskers currently hold a 7-3 conference record after splitting their matches against Northwestern and Illinois last weekend. The Badgers will also be looking to make a comeback against the Huskers after dropping the first meeting between the two earlier this season, 4-3.
