Badgers and Gophers face off in Border Battle

Wisconsin heads to Minneapolis to take on No. 47 Minnesota
MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's tennis team (1-4, 1-3 Big Ten) heads to Minneapolis for the 128th edition of the Border Battle with rival Minnesota (1-3) on Saturday. The dual between the Badgers and the No. 47-ranked Gophers begins at noon inside the Baseline Tennis Center.
- Badger Review: The Badgers are looking to pick up a win against their rivals after coming up short in a tight match against then-No. 24 Northwestern last weekend. Jesper Freimuth (3-1) and Robert Krill (2-1) lead the pack in singles play while the duo of Lenard Soha and Mihailo Popovic lead in doubles with a record of 2-1.
- Scouting Minnesota: The Gophers are currently ranked 47th in the nation and hold a 1-3 record in the Big Ten. Last weekend, Minnesota picked up a 4-3 upset win over 24th-ranked Northwestern.
