‘Stripe-Out’ scheduled for home opener

Fans asked to wear red or white when Badgers host Penn State on Sept. 4

MADISON, Wis. – To mark the return of Badger football and a full Camp Randall Stadium, Wisconsin Athletics is asking fans to wear red or white, depending on their section, on Sept. 4 when UW hosts Penn State.
Fans planning on attending the season-opener can get their official red or white Badger gear here.
The "Stripe-Out" returns to Camp Randall following a successful debut on Sept. 21, 2019 when the Badgers beat No. 11 Michigan, 35-14, in front of a sold-out crowd.
The Sept. 4 matchup with Penn State will be the first time in 40 years that Wisconsin is opening the season with a home game against a Big Ten opponent. The last time, on Sept. 12, 1981, the Badgers defeated No. 1 Michigan, 21-14.
The Penn State game on Sept. 4 will kickoff at 11 a.m. CT and be televised nationally on FOX. In addition to the game broadcast, FOX's pre-game show, Big Noon Kickoff, will be on-site and originate its broadcast from Madison.
