LAWRENCE, Kan. – Thanks to
Emma Jaskaniec's second-half goal, the Wisconsin women's soccer team surged past Kansas, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Rock Chalk Park.
After a quiet first half, the Badgers enjoyed a stellar second half, highlighted by Jaskaniec's first goal of the season. The junior midfielder scored in the 63rd minute off a feed from senior
Cammie Murtha to break the scoreless deadlock.
Wisconsin had the first eight shots in the second half and ultimately outshot Kansas 13-5 during the game.
