Wisconsin with two doubles teams, one single in last round

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Wisconsin women's tennis team continues its fall season this weekend with a handful of Badgers competing at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Champaign, Illinois.

Taylor Cataldi advanced to the Round of 16 in main draw singles. The freshman will face Carrie Beckman at 10 a.m. on Sunday with a chance to advance to the quarterfinals.

In doubles, Wisconsin has two teams of Badgers that advanced to quarterfinals of competition. Nastasya Semenovski and Taylor Cataldi will face Cassie Alcala and Sloane Teske, while Antonela Stoica and Alina Mukhortova will face Lenka Antonijevic and Yuliya Kizelbasheva. Doubles play begins 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Sundays matches will be streamed for fans, who can can watch live via host team Illinois.

Results will be posted on the ITA website following all matches.
