Wisconsin begins spring season at event in Evanston
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin women's tennis team officially begins its 2022 spring season with the Northwestern Fall Invitational this weekend in Evanston, Illinois.
A three-day event hosted by Northwestern, competition is scheduled to begin Saturday and run through Monday. Wisconsin will be joined by Butler and host Northwestern at the event.
Play will begin at noon CT on Saturday, 11 a.m. CT on Sunday and 9:30 a.m. CT on Monday. The full schedule is as follows:
SATURDAY
12-12:45 p.m. — Round 1 of doubles
1-1:45 p.m. — Round 2 of doublesÂ
2 p.m. — Northwestern vs. Butler (singles)
Not before 3:45 p.m. — Wisconsin vs. Combo (singles)
SUNDAY
11-11:45 a.m. — Round 1 of doubles
12-12:45 p.m. — Round 2 of doubles
1 p.m. — Northwestern vs. Wisconsin (singles)
Not before 2:45 p.m. — Butler vs. Combo (singles)
MONDAY
9:30-10:15 a.m. — Round 1 of doubles
10:30 a.m. — Wisconsin vs. Butler (singles)
Not before 12:15 p.m. — Northwestern vs. Combo (singles)
Per Northwestern, fans are welcome at the Combe Tennis Center for all three days. Parking is free throughout the weekend and on Monday at the North Parking Garage on Northwestern's campus.
Streaming for all three days can be found via "Studio N" by clicking here. One day passes cost $3.95 and monthly passes cost $6.95 per month.
In accordance with the Evanston Health and Human Services Department's mitigation, a vaccine requirement is in effect for all Northwestern Athletics indoor events and remains in effect until further notice.
All guests and working personnel ages five and older are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of the event. Face masks continue to be required and must be worn during all home indoor athletic events regardless of vaccination status.
