McConagha named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

Freshman had standout performance against Northwestern
Mackenzie McConagha was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after a standout performance last weekend against Northwestern, the conference announced Wednesday.
The Broadlands, Virginia native won the 100 Fly (53.48), 200 Fly (1:57.85) and was the leadoff leg in the winning 400 Free Relay (3:20.02).

Wisconsin and McConagha will be in action one more time at home before hosting the Big Ten Championships, after rescheduling a meet with Green Bay for Friday, Feb. 4 at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.
In addition, McConagha and the Badgers will host the 2022 Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, Feb. 16-19, at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center. All-session tickets go on sale on Jan. 31 at www.uwbadgers.com.
