"Our crew had a really strong showing this weekend. It's something we've been prepping for and we were ready to execute our race plan to perfection.
"The downside of head racing is that you never know what's going to happen on race day and, even if you have a perfect race, some other team could mess it all up by interfering with your crew. We experienced that today. It's a shame because it happened very early in the race and we had to come to a complete stop then pick it back up. Our crew was the fastest through the second half of the course and we know what the result should've been. Fuel to the fire.
"We will be back to take that trophy home to Madison, but for now we get ready to keep getting faster and prep for the winter/spring seasons. It's been a great fall season and we're excited to continue to build speed."
