1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers earned their first sweep of the year last weekend against Lindenwood, blanking the LionsĀ 6-0 on Thursday before earning a 10-0 triumph on Friday. Maddi Wheeler and Lacey Eden each posted seven points during the sweep while Cami Kronish and Jane Gervais each posted a shutout during the sweep.

2. FIRE AWAY: The Badgers dominated play throughout their series against Lindenwood, outshooting the Lions 139-14 during the two-game set. The Badgers launched 72 shots on target on Thursday, which ranked second in school history, while UW's 33 shots on net during the second period was a program record. UW also allowed only three shots on goal on Thursday, which also matched a school record.

3. HARVEY MAKES HISTORY: Caroline Harvey is coming off of a historic performance against LindenwoodĀ last Friday night as she became one of only four players in school history to record five assists in a single game. The only other Badgers to accomplish that feat are Meghan Hunter, who holds the school record of six assists in a single game, Hilary Knight and Meghan Duggan, who each posted five assists in a single match. In addition, Harvey's five points matched the school record for most points in a single game by a rear guard as Jordan Brickner, Courtney Burke, Kelly Jaminski and Mekenzie Steffen all share the school record.

4. ALL THE AWARDS: Three Badgers earned honors from the WCHA this week as Maddi Wheeler and Caroline Harvey earned WCHA Player of the Week accolades on Monday while Lacey Eden and Harvey collected WCHA Player of the Month honors on Tuesday. Wheeler was tied for the league lead with seven points last weekend against Lindenwood while Harvey enjoyed a five-point showing in her home debut for the Badgers. Eden posted a league-best 11 points during the month of September and Harvey's six points led all league rookies and ranked second among WCHA rear guards.

5. AGAINST THE TOMMIES: Wisconsin leads the all-time series against St. Thomas 3-0-0, winning all three matchups during the 2021-22 season. This weekend marks the first trip St. Thomas will make to Madison after the Tommies were unable play the series in Madison last season due to COVID-19. This weekend's series features two bench bosses that have coached the U.S. Olympic Women's Hockey Team as UW head coach Mark Johnson served as the coach of the 2010 squad that won silver while St. Thomas coach Joel Johnson coached the 2022 team that also captured silver.
