Wisconsin faces Drake for second game in four days

Badgers play at home on Monday in non-conference game
MADISON, Wis. – The men's soccer team play again tomorrow at McClimon against Drake in a non-conference match. It's a quick turnaround for the boys, who palyed against Michigan in a thriller on Friday.
Here are five things to know
1. LOOKING BACK: The Badgers have only played Drake a total of 11 times, with Wisconsin leading by a record of 9-2-0. The last matchup between these two sides was nine years ago in Madison on October 8, 2013. The Badgers won that game by a score of 3-2 and extended their home unbeaten streak to eight with the win against Drake back in 2013.
2. PLAYERS TO WATCH: As Michigan found out on Friday, keeping track of and defending forward Jack Finnegan is no easy feat. The junior scored the equalizer against the Wolverines in their Big Ten matchup and displayed his speed along with with his signature flashing footwork in the win. The Illinois native can change the game in a heartbeat with his offensive arsenal, as shown last game
Forward AJ Franklin is far and away the most skilled attacker for the Bulldogs. The Graduate transfer from Marquette has five goals and one assist through eight games.
3. RECAPPING THE WEEK: The team put on an impressive show against the Michigan Wolverines on Friday for both a conference showdown and Pac the Mac. Despite going down 1-0 in the second half the boys were able to score goals in back-to-back minutes. The goals from Jack Finnegan and Maxwell Keenan propelled the Badgers to the win. It was certainly a big three points for the Badgers and was the first win of their Big Ten campaign.
4.THREE STRAIGHT TELEVISED GAMES: After the Badgers take on Drake tomorrow the team plays three straight televised games. This schedule starts with an away game at Maryland (10/14) on ESPNU, followed by games at home against Indiana (10/18) and away against Northwestern (10/23). The games against Indiana and Northwestern will be broadcast through the Big Ten Network.
5. HOW TO FOLLOW: The game against Drake (4-2-2) is at 5pm and can be streamed on BTN+. Fans can also follow along via live stats or in person at McClimon Soccer Complex where admission is free.
