MADISON, Wis. — After a two game stint on the road, Wisconsin  prepares to face North Florida in their home opener Sunday, Nov. 13. Tip time is 1:00 pm from the Kohl Center. Watch live on BTN+, or listen on WTSO.

Here are five things to know before their first home game of the season:

1. BADGERS AT THE BALLPARK: Wisconsin faced off with Kansas State in the first basketball game played inside of American Family Field on Friday, Nov. 11, but were defeated 77-63. The Badgers were able to limit the sharp-shooting Wildcats offense to four three pointers in the first half, and led by as many as 13 points. Unfortunately, UW was unable to maintain this momentum throughout the course of the next two quarters, and as they started to miss more shots, KSU began to sink a flurry of three pointers.

2. REDSHIRT REVELATION: Through the first two games of the season, Maty Wilke has been a consistent force on the court for the Badgers. She came away with a team-high 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-9 3FG) against the Wildcats while also adding four rebounds and two steals. She is leading UW with an average of 14.5 points and 3.5 steals per game. Wilke is also the team leader in average minutes per game with 38.0. 

3. STATS LEADER: At 5-foot-6, Avery LaBarbera leads the Badgers in average rebounds per game with 8.0, as well as average assists with 3.5. The graduate senior brought in a team-high five assists against K-State while finishing second on the team with six rebounds. Teammate Halle Douglass finished reeled in 10 rebounds, which was a career high for the junior guard. 

4. FOUL TROUBLES: Wisconsin's roster was plagued by fouls in their matchup with Kansas State, and it left the team trying to find new player combinations to implement on the court. Three Badgers finished with four fouls, including Douglass, LaBarbera and Brooke Schramek, while Julie Pospisilova and Ronnie Porter each ended with three. Coach Marissa Moseley attempted to keep these players off the court so that they could have longevity through the game, but with Wisconsin's struggling offense, it was hard to keep starters away from the hardwood for too long. 

5. SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA: Much like the Badgers, North Florida is a young team composed of many new faces. The Ospreys added six transfers and three freshmen to their roster in the offseason for a total of nine players, just one more than Wisconsin got ahead of this year. They are a small team, composed of just 11 student-athletes, and there are just three players 6-foot or taller. UNF's one game of the season resulted in a commanding 92-63 win over Warner, and they are coming off the most points scored in a season opener in D-I program history. The Ospreys were led by Lyric Swann who logged 18 points (8-16 FG, 2-7 3FG), five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
