MADISON, Wis. — It's not every game Wisconsin notches 100 points, but the women's basketball team looked outstanding as it defeated Bradley 103-49 on Wednesday night at the Kohl Center. The Badgers tied and set multiple records and got revenge against the Braves after dropping their road match the season prior.Â
Wisconsin set the single-game field-goal percentage at 63.9%, and went 39-61 from the field. Its 103 points ranks eight all-time in school history, and was the first time the Badgers reached 100 points since Dec. 18, 2016. En route to these impressive numbers, five UW players scored in double-digits, including Serah Williams, Maty Wilke, Julie Pospisilova, Brooke Schramek and Krystyna Ellew. Williams led the pack with 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 FT), followed by Wilke with 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 3FG).
UW tied two more school records, including the most three-point field goals with 14, and most assists with 34. Pospisilova contributed four threes, with Wilke and Ellew each scoring three apiece. The Badgers' most prolific three-point shooting efforts came in the first quarter when they made 6-of-11, and they never shot less than 54.55% from behind the arc throughout the game. In terms of assists, Avery LaBarbera contributed nine with Halle Douglass, the team assists leader, adding in eight more.Â
This game marks the Badgers' largest margin of victory since 1982 with 54 points separating the two teams.
Looking deeper at the comparisons between Wisconsin and Bradley's performances, the Badgers outmatched their opponents in every category. Bradley finished the game with 26 rebounds, nine assists, eight steals and no blocks. Two players, Caroline Waite and Isis Fitch scored in double-figures with 11 points, but no one else on the team was able to record more than eight points.

Head Coach Marisa MoseleyÂ
"We're just walking down here and we set the field goal percentage record. The last time we had this high of a percentage was in 1998 and I was a sophomore in high school. You can do the math. Very, very proud of our collective team effort, 34 assists ties a school record. The crowd was just excited and so was I… More than anything, we went to Bradley last year and we lost that game. This is just a testament to what a difference a year makes, with kids buying into who we want to be, us coming together as a program and I think we put together a pretty complete game."
Redshirt-freshman guard Maty Wilke
"It was really fun. It was a complete team effort and we were all excited for each other, it doesn't matter who scores or who makes a play… I think having a very versatile one through five we are able to do a lot. Everyone was very tenacious on defense and we all bought into that."
