MADISON, Wis. - Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day, presented by Kohl's, with Wisconsin women's basketball on Sunday, Jan. 29 at the Kohl Center. Tickets are just $2!
The festivities begin at 11 a.m. prior to the Wisconsin vs. Northwestern game at 1 p.m. Fans can enjoy fun and interactive games, a chance to interact with female student-athletes, and more.
This pre-game event will wrap up at 12:30 p.m. in advance of the Big Ten matchup against Northwestern. Check out all the fun and exciting promotions listed below for Jan. 29.
Pre-Game Activities
Be sure to arrive early as the Kohl Center concourse will be filled with free, interactive activities. Beginning at 11 a.m. kids will enjoy fun and interactive games, a chance to interact with female student-athletes, a 360-degree photo booth, balloon artist, sign-making station and more.
Free Admission for Youth Teams
The Wisconsin Women's Basketball team is hosting their annual Youth Team Day on Sunday, Jan. 29 as the Badgers take on Northwestern. All pre-registered youth basketball teams will receive FREE admission. This invitation is open to all elementary, middle school and high school basketball teams. All players and up to five coaches per team will receive complimentary admission. Register HERE. Once registered, the team name will be placed on a pass list and permitted to enter free of charge through the designated pass gate entrance.

Theresa Huff Day - Special Halftime Recognition
On January 29, the UW will celebrate "Theresa Huff Day" and will formally commemorate the UW Athletics Hall of Famer's achievements by unveiling a No. 21 banner to hang in the rafters of the Kohl Center. Theresa Huff was the first women's basketball player to have her #21 jersey retired. Learn more HERE.
Sunday Kids Day
Following the game, as part of Sunday Kids Day presented by Kohl's, all kids, 12 and under will be invited down to the basketball court to participate in post-game layups. Kids should form a line outside section 115 at the conclusion of the game for access to the court.
Wisconsin Cheerleading Youth Clinic
The Wisconsin Cheerleading Youth Clinic is a great opportunity for young children to learn and practice basic cheerleading skills. As this clinic, there will be three stations which include a motions and cheer class, a jump technique and training class, and a dance class. No prior cheerleading experience is required. All participants will work with and be under the instruction of the Wisconsin Cheerleading coaching staff along with members of the cheerleading squad. The Youth Clinic runs from 9am to 11:30am.
