Women's basketball unveils 2026-27 non-conference opponents

Wisconsin's 2026-27 slate features nine games at the Kohl Center and a Thanksgiving trip to Puerto Rico
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin women's basketball and head coach Robin Pingeton have announced the Badgers' 2026-27 non-conference schedule, featuring 13 regular-season contests, a road trip to in-state rival Green Bay, a home matchup against Marquette, and a Thanksgiving trip to the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout & Classic.
Wisconsin will tune up for the regular season with an exhibition game against UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 28 at the Kohl Center before officially opening the campaign on Nov. 3 against Bradley in Madison.
The Badgers remain home for three additional contests, hosting Oakland (Nov. 5), Grambling State (Nov. 8) and Delaware (Nov. 11) before making their first road trip of the season to Green Bay on Nov. 14.
Wisconsin returns to the Kohl Center on Nov. 17 to continue its in-state rivalry with Marquette before wrapping up its home slate prior to Thanksgiving against Lafayette on Nov. 22.
The Badgers will spend Thanksgiving week in San Juan, Puerto Rico, competing in the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout & Classic. Wisconsin opens the event against Auburn on Wednesday, Nov. 25, before facing Syracuse on Thursday, Nov. 26.
Following the holiday tournament, Wisconsin returns home to host Western Michigan on Dec. 2 before closing its road non-conference schedule with a trip to Valparaiso on Dec. 10.
The Badgers finish non-conference play with back-to-back home games against Delaware State on Dec. 17 and Omaha on Dec. 20 before opening Big Ten Conference action.
