Head Coach Mark Johnson
On the first game back from break:
"After the first period, I thought we played extremely well. We picked up the pace and really created a lot of opportunities. You come back after two weeks off and get the legs moving out from under you early on. Cami played really well, so overall it's a good way to start the second half of the season."
Senior Captain Britta Curl
On hitting milestones with teammate Sophie Shirley:
"It's really special. It's kind of a full circle moment, I've played a lot with her over the years and she's a great person so it's easy to root for her, and it's really cool to see how she's done in her career."
On grabbing a win against a top team like Quinnipiac:
"It's huge. We knew this would be a test for us and we just wanted to come away with all of the points we could get. It'll help us a lot down the road and build up some confidence.
Senior Cami Kronish
On getting a shutout against a top-five team:
"It's awesome. I have to give all the credit to my teammates, they played amazing. First game back, it's easy to have a little bit of rust but I think we did a really good job and I'm proud of the win today."
