Vanessa Ho cards top-10 finish to lead Badgers
EATONTON, Ga. — Wisconsin finished the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in 11th place after shooting its lowest round on the final day. The team total for the tournament was a 918 (+54).
Freshman Vanessa Ho led the Badgers, shooting a six-over-par 222 to finish tied for seventh place. This is her second top-10 finish of the season.
Friday, February 18
The team is tied with South Dakota State and Rutgers after firing a 307 (+19).
Freshman Chloe Chan led the Badgers, shooting a one-over-par 73. She is currently tied for fifth place.
Emily Lauterbach joins her in the top 20, finishing day one tied for 16th after shooting a three-over-par 75.
Saturday, February 19
The team shot a 317 (+29) and sits in 13th place headed into the final round.
Ho led the Badgers in th second round, shooting an even-par 72 with three consecutive birdies in her first nine holes of the day. She is currently T14.
Sunday, February 20
The Badgers wrapped up the Reynolds Invitational with their lowest round of the tournament, shooting a six-over-par 294 on the final day.
Ho led Wisconsin with an even-par 72 for the second day in a row. Ho notched her second top-10 finish at Wisconsin, coming in T7.
Chan also shot an even-par 72 for the final round and recorded a career-best finish, coming in T25 with a 227 (+11).
Next up, the Badgers are headed to Arizona to host the Westbrook Invitational on Feb. 27-28.
