Badgers tie for sixth at Westbrook

Chan and Hahn record top-10 finishes
PEORIA, Ariz. — Wisconsin finished the Westbrook Invitational tied for sixth place with Ohio State. The team shot a one-over-par 865 to tie the fifth-lowest 54-hole score in program history.
The Badgers were led by Chloe Chan and Mackenzie Hahn. The duo both finished tied for ninth with a 212 (-4).
Sunday, February 27
The team shot a 293 (+5) in the first round and a one-under-par 287 in the second round.
Chloe Chan and Mackenzie Hahn share the lead for the Badgers. Both are tied for seventh place with a three-under-par 141.
Chan shot a new 18-hole career-low of 69 in the second round and her 141 is a new 36-hole career-low.
Hahn also recorded a new 18-hole career-low in the second round with a four-under-par 68 and her 141 is a new 36-hole career-low.
Carly Carter, who is competing as an individual for Wisconsin, shot a new 36-hole career-low of 150 (+6).
Monday, February 28
Wisconsin shot a three-under-par 285 in the final round of the Westbrook Invitational to finish the tournament with an 865 (+1).
Chan, Hahn and Vanessa Ho each turned in a one-under-par 71 to lead the team on Monday.
Chan and Hahn were the top finishers for the Badgers. The pair each recorded a new 54-hole career-low, a career-best finish and their first top-10 finish.
Nicole Ciskowski shot an even 72 in the final round and turned in a career-best 54-hole score of 223 (+7).
Carter also recorded a 54-hole career-low with a 228 (+12).
Wisconsin led the field in par-three scoring with an average of 3.18. Chan led the field in par-three scoring at one-under with an average of 2.92 and Hahn was one of 10 players to record an eagle.
Next up, the Badgers are headed to South Carolina on March 14-15 to compete in the Briar's Creek Invitational.
