Wisconsin defeats Michigan behind strong second half

Johnny Davis leads way with 25 points in victory

MADISON, Wis. - All five starters scored in double figures for the Wisconsin men's basketball team, as the Badgers earned a 77-63 win over Michigan on Sunday at the Kohl Center.

A 9-0 run midway through the second half helped Wisconsin erase the Wolverines' lead and put the Badgers in control the rest of the way.

Johnny Davis led the Badgers with 25 points and added a career-high three blocks. The sophomore guard scored 17 of his points in the second half alone.

Steven Crowl finished with 11 points, while Tyler Wahl, Chucky Hepburn, and Brad Davison scored 10 points each.

The Badgers outscored the Wolverines 11-8 off the bench, including six points from Jahcobi Neath. UW held a 44-34 advantage for points in the paint.

Next up, Wisconsin travels to face Minnesota on Wednesday. Tip is set for 8 p.m. and will be televised on Big Ten Network.
