Bacon places 10th, McConagha 15th in the 100 Back

Badgers take 15th in the 400 Medley Relay
The Wisconsin women's swimming and diving team put together another solid performance on the third day of the NCAA Championships. The 400 Medley Relay squad of Phoebe Bacon, Jenna Silvestri, Mallory Jump and Sophie Fiske finished in 15th place, earning honorable mention All-America status.Â
Bacon also finished 10th in the 100 back with a time of 50.83, while freshman Mackenzie McConagha took 15th place with a time of 52.08.

"The Badgers had another strong day here in Atlanta. Phoebe made a nice adjustment from the morning to swim a better 100 and win the consultation heat and Mack put together a strong race to score some valuable points as well. We finished with another honorable mention All-American relay in the 400 Medley with our season best time. We're excited for tomorrow and the last day of racing!"
The Badgers close out the championships tomorrow with the preliminaries at 9 a.m. CT followed by the 1650 Free prelims at 2:45 p.m. CT, and concluding with the finals at 5 p.m. CT.Â
