Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The No. 50 Wisconsin women's tennis team continued its season at home Friday night with a conference win over No. 70 Michigan State. The Badgers defeated the Spartans, 6-1, improving UW's conference record to 3-1 this season.
The Badgers (11-6, 3-1 Big Ten) started off strong, earning the doubles point against Michigan State (9-5, 1-2 B1G). Taylor Cataldi and Charmaine Seah clinched the doubles point after defeating Michigan State's Lauren Lemonds and Dagmar Zdrubecka, 6-2.
Cataldi also secured the first singles point for the Badgers, defeating Michigan State's Lemonds, 6-0, 6-3.
Seah, Ava Markham, Antonela Stoica and Alina Mukhortova each earned singles victories for Wisconsin.
