MADISON, Wis. —The Wisconsin men's track and field team wrapped up three days of competition in the state of Texas on Saturday. The Badgers competed at the Texas Relays in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos.Â

Redshirt junior Connor Barfknect jumped his way into a new personal best of 47 feet, 9 ¼ inches in the triple jump, tying for third in the event. Teammate
Peyton Frankenreider also leaped 47-9 1/4 to tie Barfknecht for third.
Graduate transfer
Jack Herkert finished 11th in the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.71 seconds to finish 11th. Finishing right behind Herkert was redshirt junior
Cade Amborn, who ran a new personal best of 14.73 to finish 13th.

Davis Wenthe placed seventh in the 400 meters, crossing in 48.18

Andrew Stone placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 62-2 ½ .
