Badgers tip Nov. 7, begin Big Ten play Dec. 6

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball program revealed its complete 2022-23 schedule, including all 20 Big Ten games announced by the league office on Thursday.

The reigning Big Ten champions open with an exhibition against UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 30.

The season officially tips off for the Badgers on Nov. 7 at the Kohl Center.

When the Badgers tip off this November, it will mark the 125th season of Wisconsin men's basketball dating back to the inaugural campaign in 1898-99. Throughout the season, UW Athletics will honor the rich history and tradition of the program that includes 23 Big Ten championships, the 1941 National Championship, four Final Fours and 22 consensus All-Americans.

Student season tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 14 beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT.

Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Wednesday, Oct. 5. The pre-sale for single game tickets for donors and season ticket holders is set for Tuesday, Oct. 4.

On Nov. 11, the Badgers will take part in the "Brew City Battle," a unique doubleheader at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The first basketball games ever played at the home of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Wisconsin women's basketball team will face Kansas State followed by the UW men taking on Stanford. Following a home game against Green Bay on Nov. 15, the Badgers will pack their bags for the Bahamas where they will compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis, Nov. 23-25. The holiday tournament has Wisconsin facing Dayton in the opening game on Nov. 23, followed by either Kansas or NC State on Nov. 24.

UW returns home to host Wake Forest on Nov. 29 as part of the 2022 Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Wisconsin begins Big Ten play on Dec. 6 hosting Maryland at the Kohl Center.

This season's Big Ten tournament will take place March 8-12 in Chicago, Illinois at the United Center.

Wisconsin will host 16 regular-season home games this season. Since the Kohl Center opened in 1998, the Badgers have enjoyed a record of 326-60 (.845), the 10th-best home record in the country among active venues.
