MADISON, Wis. - The Badgers will be back at the Kohl Center on Sunday afternoon to face Northwestern for National Girls & Women in Sports Day and Theresa Huff Day. The matchup is set to tip off at 1 p.m. and will be available on B1G+ and WIBA.

BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN: The Badgers (7-14, 2-7 Big Ten) topped Valpo at home, 59-44, on Wednesday night in their final non-conference game of the regular season. Wisconsin was originally scheduled to play Valpo on Dec. 22, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather.Â

1K CAREER POINTS: Julie Pospisilova reached 1,000 career points on Wednesday night. She became the 28th Badger in program history to reach this milestone. She is also the first Badger born outside the U.S. to score 1,000 career points. She finished the night with 10 points, seven rebounds and set a new season high with four steals.

STEPPING UP: Freshman Sania Copeland got major minutes on Wednesday night, and finished with a career-high nine points. She went 3-for-6 from the field, including 2-for-5 from behind the arc.Â

NOTES ABOUT NORTHWESTERN: Wisconsin trails in the overall series with Northwestern, 8-16. The Wildcats have won the last 6 matchups, as the Badgers last victory came in the 2017-18 season. Northwestern (7-13, 0-9 Big Ten) is led by Caileigh Wood and Sydney Wood, who are averaging 12.0 and 11.1 points per game, respectively.Â

SPECIAL DAY AT THE KOHL CENTER: Fans will get the opportunity to enjoy games and activities prior to the game, including a 360-degree photo booth, balloon artist and sign making station. They will also get the chance to interact with female student-athletes. At halftime of the game, UW will formally commemorate Theresa Huff's achievements by raising her No. 21 jersey into the rafters of the Kohl Center.Â
