Badgers well-represented in November games of Rivalry Series

Three current and seven former Badgers to face off in Rivalry Series
MADISON, Wis. – Three current and seven former Badgers are set to represent Canada and the United States this week in the November games of the 2023-24 Rivalry Series.
Former Badgers Natalie Buchbinder, Hilary Knight and Abby Roque will be joined by current UW student-athletes Britta Curl, Lacey Eden and Laila Edwards as they represent Team USA in the series.
Britta Curl, Lacey Eden, Hilary Knight and Abby Roque continue their time with the U.S. as they each won gold with Team USA at the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship, while Laila Edwards will make her U.S. Women's National Team debut. In addition, Edwards is set to be the first Black player to play for the U.S. Senior National Team.
Badger alum representing Canada include Kristen Campbell, Emily Clark, Sarah Nurse and Blayre Turnbull. This Hockey Canada squad most recently won silver at the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship and gold at the 2022 IIHF Women's World Championship and 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
The Rivalry Series features multiple contests between long-time rivals USA and Canada, including two games in November, two in December and three in February.
The November stretch of the series begins this Wednesday with a 8:30 p.m. CT puck drop at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, and will wrap up with a 3 p.m. CT tilt on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Both games can be watched on the NHL Network.
