MADISON, Wis. – School records by Josie Schaefer and Chloe Lindeman highlighted the performances for the Wisconsin women's track and field team at the Badger Valentine Invitational on Friday at The Shell. Wisconsin won a total of seven events at the meet.
Schaefer, Lindeman shatter school records
It took only one throw for Schaefer to break her own school record in the shot put. With her first toss, Schaefer hurled the shot 61 feet, 0 ¼ inches, breaking her own record of 59-6 ¼ that she set last year at the same meet.
