MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's basketball team (9-19, 4-12 Big Ten) will travel to Evanston to play Northwestern on Thursday night. The game is set to tip at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on BTN and fans can listen to it on WIBA.

Here are five things to know before the matchup with Northwestern:

1. DOMINANT W: The Badgers took care of Rutgers on Monday night, with a decisive 88-62 win at the Kohl Center. The 26-point margin of victory was its largest since beating Nebraska by 26 points on Feb. 9, 2017. All five starters scored in double figures as Serah Williams led the team with 21 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Julie Pospisilova finished with 17 points, six assists and three steals. Avery LaBarbera added 16 points, and finished with six assists and three steals as well. Maty Wilke and Brooke Schramek tallied 14 and 11 points, respectively. 

2. BIG D: Wisconsin finished with eight blocks on Monday night, a season high, with three of them coming from Williams. Pospisilova, Schramek and Sara Stapleton combined for the other five. Additionally, the Badgers came away with eleven steals on the night.

3. HEATIN' UP: After scoring in double figures in seven of the first eight games, redshirt freshman Maty Wilke has returned to form with double-digit scoring in five of her last seven games. Wilke leads the team with 51 3-pointers this season. She went 5-for-8 from 3-point range on Monday night against Rutgers. 

4. SCOUTING NORTHWESTERN: Northwestern (9-18, 2-14 Big Ten) is coming off a 76-62 win against Minnesota on Saturday afternoon, as they earned their second Big ten win of the season. The Wildcats are led by Caileigh Walsh (12.0 ppg) and Sydney Wood (10.5 ppg). 

5. HISTORY WITH THE WILDCATS: The Badgers trail the overall series with Northwestern, 8-17. In their first matchup this season, Northwestern edged out the Badgers, 70-67, at the Kohl Center back in January. Serah Williams led the Badgers with 21 points and seven rebounds.
