HANAHAN, S.C. -- After three rounds of play at the Cougar Classic, Wisconsin women's golf finished the first tournament of the season in 16th place at 23-over par. 

Carly Carter garnered top honors for the Badgers, finishing tied for 45th at one-over par. Carter tallied a new career-low 36-hole score of 143, and a new career-low 54-hole score of 214. The junior improved her 54-hole career-low by nine strokes. 

Tuesday, September 12

Round 3

Wisconsin shot a 291 (+7) in the third and final round to finish in 16th place.

Once again, Alexia Siehl and Carter made par to lead the UW with three birdies each. Kate Brody finished her first collegiate tournament by carding a three-over 74. 

Vanessa Ho and Gia Feliciano rounded out the lineup, each shooting a four-over 75. Feliciano found herself with back to back birdies yet again, this time on Holes 4 and 5. 

Round 2 (cont.)

The second round of the Cougar Classic resumed on Tuesday morning. Wisconsin carded a 292 (+8) to place 15th. 

Brody made par with four birdies in just her second round as a Badger, including back to. back birdies on Holes 2 and 3. Carter followed closely with a one-over 72. 

Siehl carded a two-over 73, while Ho and Feliciano each shot a five-over 76. Feliciano also grabbed back to back birdies, but on Holes 5 and 6. 

Monday, September 11

Round 2

The second round was delayed due to weather and will resume Tuesday morning before the third round.

Round 1

The Badgers opened up the Cougar Classic by shooting a 292 (+8) to place 14th.

Siehl and Carter made par to lead the Badgers, with Siehl tallying four birdies and Carter three. 

Brody carded a two-over 73 in her first collegiate round and Ho shot a six-over 77. Feliciano rounded out the lineup with a seven-over 78.
