Wisconsin takes 14th place at the end of 54 holes

NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Wisconsin men's golf has placed 14th at one-over par at the Windon Memorial.

The Badgers were led by Jacob Beckman, who finished one-under par and tied for 41st place. Purdue led the field of teams, completing the Memorial at 38-under par, a new record for the tournament.

Tuesday, September 26

Round 3

Wisconsin shot a 289 (+5) in the third and final round of the Windon Memorial to place 14th.

Cameron Huss made par to lead UW, picking up five birdies in the final round. Beckman and Carter Pitcairn both shot a one-over 72 with two birdies each.

Coalter Smith carded a three-over 74, while Spencer Turtz rounded out the lineup with a seven-over 78.

Monday, September 25

Round 2

The Badgers improved their score by four strokes to card a 280 (-4) in the second round of the Memorial.

Spencer Turtz enjoyed six birdies in the second round, helping him to a two-under 69. Beckman and Cameron Huss trailed right behind, each shooting a one-under 70.

Smith and Carter Pitcairn both made par to finish out the first day of play.

Round 1

Wisconsin made par in the opening round of the Windon Memorial with a 284.

Smith led the pack in the first round, shooting a two-under 69, while Beckman followed closely with a one-under 70. Smith tallied four birdies in the first round, including back-to-back birdies on Holes 6 and 7.

Huss shot a one-over 72 with four birdies in his opening round, and Turtz and Pitcairn each carded a two-over 73.
