
Badgers end non-conference play with Marquette Sunday

Wisconsin set to play cross-state rival on Sunday
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's soccer team is back at McClimon on Sunday, Sept. 10, to take on Marquette. The match is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. (CT).
Here are five things to know:
1. KNOW THE OPPONENT: The Badgers have a deep history with the Golden Eagles with the overall record being 9-5-2.
Marquette holds a season record of 2-3-1, earning a win on Thursday against Milwaukee.
2.PLAYERS TO WATCH: Aryssa Mahrt has been working up the points, claiming a goal on Thursday at Loyola. She now has two goals and three assists on the season.
Josie Bieda is a sophomore forward who holds the lead on the team for goals. She has one on the campaign and five shots on goal.
3. RECAPPING THE WEEK: The Badgers went on a road trip to the Windy City where they took down Loyola - Chicago 3-2. Aryssa Mahrt scored the first in minute 20' with Adee Boer netting the second at 45'. Emma Jaskaniec earned a penalty shot at 56' to bring the score to 3-1. This was the Badgers' third-straight win on the campaign.
