Florida native officially signs with Badgers
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin men's golf coach Mike Wilson announced on Wednesday that Vijay Kumar has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin.
A signee in the Class of 2025, Kumar will join the Badgers beginning with the 2024-25 season.
"We are really excited to have Vijay join the Badgers. He is extremely talented and one of the top junior golfers to come out of Florida in this class. Vijay has some of the best technique and skill set out of a junior golfer that we have seen in quite some time. He won the Sunshine State Amateur last year. We feel he can make an immediate impact as a freshman."
