Ā The Wisconsin women's basketball team (10-2, 1-0 B1G) will continue conference play when itĀ travels to take on the Indiana Hoosiers (9-3, 1-0 B1G) on Saturday, Dec. 28. The game will be televised on Big Ten Network with tip-off set for 1:00 p.m. (CT).
Here are five things to know before the Badgers faceĀ the Hoosiers:
1. A GLANCE AT THE SEASON:Ā Wisconsin continues to excel this season maintaining a perfect 7-0 home record for the first time since 2006-07. Their impressive 10-2 overall record marks the best start for the program since the 2009-10 season.Ā The Badgers are looking for their first 2-0 conference start since the 2010-11 season.
2. LAST TIME OUT:Ā Wisconsin used a fourth-quarter, 11-0 scoring surge to knock off Albany on Friday, Dec. 20.

Carter McCray led the team to victory with Williams tallying 28 points and 12 rebounds - her 30th career double-double, and her eighth career 25-point game. McCray earned her second double-double with the Badgers, scoring 15 points and securing a UW-high 14 rebounds. She has now scored in double-figures in five consecutive games. As a team, the Badgers shot 50.0% (25-50) from the field andĀ out-scored Albany 42-to-16 in the paint. On the defensive end, Wisconsin limited the Great Danes to just 37.0% (22-59) shooting from the field and 32.0% (8-25) from long range.
3. HISTORY WITH INDIANA: The Badgers are looking for their first win over Indiana since 2015 and snap a string of 10 straight losses.Ā UW trails the all-time series, 55-23, and is just 4-34 all time in Bloomington. The Badgers last win at Assembly Hall came with back-to-back victories in 2010 and 2011.
4. SCOUTING THE HOOSIERS:Ā Indiana is currently 9-3 under head coach Teri Moren, including a 75-60 win over Penn State in its Big Ten opener. The Hoosiers have posted a pair of ranked wins on the season, topping #24 Stanford and #16 North Carolina.
5. LOOKING AHEAD:Ā The Badgers will return home to ring in the New Year with an exciting border battle as they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Tuesday, Dec 31. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m. (CT).
