
Wisconsin men’s hockey to Providence for NCAA Regionals

Badgers open with defending-champion Quinnipiac
MADISON, Wis.- The Wisconsin men's hockey team earned a No. 2 seed for the 2024 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament and begins action on Friday in Providence, Rhode Island, against defending national-champion Quinnipiac.
Making their 27th official all-time NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2021, the Badgers (26-11-2) face third-seeded Quinnipiac (26-9-2) at Amica Mutual Pavilion on Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT.
UW's opening game will air live on Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT on ESPNEWS.
The winner of the regional will take on the winner of the first regional semifinal between overall top-seed Boston College (31-5-1) and No. 4-seed Michigan Tech (19-14-6) in the Regional Final on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Regional Final airs on ESPN2 (updated from earlier version).
