Head Coach Kelly Sheffield
On getting the season started:
"The anticipation of a season, what the possibilities are, I don't care how long you've been doing this. You get a little bit of butterflies and a whole lot of excitement."

CC Crawford
On Charlie's start:
"I think she did an amazing job. The first step she took into the gym, she owned it. She stepped into that role and was fearless with it. She never once backed down during the game. I feel like she was there for every point."

Sarah Franklin
On the start of the season: "It feels good to be back with the girls. Everyday in practice we are getting closer and closer and I think getting to play against another team really just puts into perspective the amount of work we are able to put in and it just feels great being back."

Carter Booth
On the block tonight:
"Getting to block against a live system that we don't really know that well was really helpful, really beneficial. I think our block was pretty sound tonight, pretty calm. I think we read the game well and I am looking forward to getting into that more."
