UW men's basketball officially tips off its season on November 4
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's basketball team announced its 2024 non-conference schedule on Thursday, with the Badgers scheduled to tip off their season on Nov. 4 at the Kohl Center facing Holy Cross.
Highlighting the non-conference slate is a home game against Arizona at the Kohl Center on Nov. 15, a road game at Marquette (Dec. 2), plus two games at the Greenbrier Tip-Off (Nov. 22 & 24) and a neutral contest against Butler at the Indy Classic (Dec. 14).
The Badgers will also host an exhibition against UW-River Falls on Oct. 30 at the Kohl Center.

Nov. 7 - MONTANA STATE
Nov. 10 - APPALACHIAN STATE
Nov. 15 - ARIZONA
Nov. 18 - UT-RIO GRANDE VALLEY
Nov. 22 - vs. UCF (Greenbrier Tip-Off)
Nov. 24 - vs. LSU / Pitt (Greenbrier Tip-Off)
Nov. 30 - CHICAGO STATE
Dec. 7 - at Marquette
Dec. 14 - vs. Butler (Indy Classic)
Dec. 22 - DETROIT MERCY
Game times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
Single-game tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public in early October.
Wisconsin's home schedule will feature a total of 17 games, including 10 Big Ten Conference contests.
While the Big Ten has yet to announce the conference schedule, Wisconsin has already been assigned its home and away conference opponents for the 2024-25 season.
HOME: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, Washington
AWAY: Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC
The Big Ten season will conclude with the 28th annual Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament, which is scheduled for March 12-16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
