MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin women's basketball team (10-10, 1-8 B1G) returns to the Kohl Center for a home match up against the Michigan Wolverines (14-6, 5-4 B1G). Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, Jan. 29, and can be streamed on Big Ten Plus and broadcast on 1070 AM and the iHeartRadio app.

Here are five things to know before the Badgers face the Michigan Wolverines:

1. A GLANCE AT THE SEASON: The Badgers hold a 10-10 overall record and a 1-8 mark in conference play, having battled some of the toughest opponents in college basketball. Serah Williams continues to shine, standing out as one of the two players nationally averaging a double-double with 18.6 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

2. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers battled hard on the road against the Minnesota Golden Gophers but fell short in a 71-50 defeat. The contest started well for Wisconsin, and they were able to keep pace with the Gophers. After being tied at half time the game started to decline with Minnesota's offense taking over. The Badgers were unable to close the gap and untimely came home with a  71-50 loss.  As a team, Wisconsin shot 42.0% (21-50) from the field, 33.3% (5-15) from beyond the arc, and 50.0% (3-6) from the free-throw line.

3. SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES: Michigan enters this game with a 14-6 record and a 5-4 mark in Big Ten play. The Wolverines have won the last four out of five and are coming off an 88-58 loss to Michigan State. Under the leadership of head coach Kim Barnes Arico, the Wolverines have been strong on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Michigan is averaging 79.7 points per game and pulling down 40.1 rebounds per game.

 4. HISTORY WITH MICHIGAN: Wisconsin last faced the Wolverines in the 2023-24 season where they were bested 76-52 in Ann Arbor. The Badgers lead the all-time series 41-36 and are looking to add to the score in the win column.

5. LOOKING AHEAD: The Badgers will be back on the road to take on the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday, Feb 2. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (CT).
