SAUCIER, Miss. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team finished 12th, shooting +8 across three rounds at Fallen Oak Invitational to close the 2025 Fall season on Monday.
Fifth-year
Jacob Beckman had a huge final-round, firing a 68 (-4) with four birdies. He went 16-straight holes without a bogey after yielding a stroke on the 2nd-hole. The Middleton native shot up 26 spots on the leaderboard to finish 27th overall at -1. Â
Senior
Spencer Turtz cracked the top-40, going even-par during Monday's final-round to finish +1, overall. He led the entire field in pars, notching 40 throughout the 56 holes. Sophomore
William Harned finished third for the Badgers, shooting +5. He tied for 54th overall, using a first-round 72 (E) to establish his position.Â
Junior
Charles Erlandson finished 67th at +8, having a strong final two days with a 74, and 73, respectively.Â
True freshman
Vijay Kumar rounded out the UW scoring on Monday with a +3, 75. He came in 80th on the week. Competing individually, junior
James Boustead finished 72nd on the week. He had UW's highest-finish of the season, a top-10 placement at the opening Gopher Invitational.
Up Next: The Badgers wrap up the fall campaign with their sights set on a busy spring. The 2026 stretch starts on Feb. 9 with the annual trip down to Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Classic. That will be more of a tuneup, before going full-force in March at the Schenkel Invitational, then the Pay it Forward Collegiate. UW will have one more tournament that April before travelling out to Oregon for the Big Ten Tournament in May.
