MADISON, Wis. – Following the conclusion of regular season play last weekend, the Wisconsin men's hockey team welcomes the U.S. Under-18 Team to the Kohl Center for an exhibition game on Sunday, March 2.
The contest begins at 6 p.m. and streams on B1G+.
Here are six quick things to know before tuning in:

1 - MADE IN THE U.S.A.: All-time, 44 Badgers are products of the U.S. Under-18 Team, including four current skaters: freshman defenseman Logan Hensler (USA years: 2022-24), senior defenseman Daniel Laatsch (2018-20), graduate student forward Owen Lindmark (2017-19) and sophomore defenseman Zach Schulz (2021-23).
Wisconsin boasts a 6-4-0 record against the U.S. Under-18 Team, last skating against them on Jan. 23, 2023, in Madison. Its last victory against the NTDP came on Jan. 1, 2020, when the Badgers won, 3-2, at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.
2 - WEEKEND OF MILESTONES: In its final series of the regular season last weekend at Notre Dame, multiple Badgers reached milestones.
On Friday, freshman forward Adam Pietila scored his first NCAA goal in his 27th game played with Wisconsin.

Freshman defenseman Weston Knox and sophomore forward Owen Mehlenbacher each recorded their first-career multi-point games on Friday.

On Saturday, graduate student defenseman Anthony Kehrer scored his first goal of the season and his first in 33 games played. His last goal came on March 9, 2024, in game two of the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals against Ohio State.

Also on Saturday, junior forward Kyle Kukkonen skated in his 100th career collegiate game, becoming the 10th current Badger to reach that mark.
Graduate student forward Owen Lindmark also made history on Saturday as he played his 170th career game. Lindmark is the 12th player to skate in 170 games as a Badger, with Rob Andringa holding the record at 179 contests.
3 - THE MARVELOUS MR. MOSLEY: On Friday, graduate student Ryland Mosley recorded the third four-point night of his career.
The forward tallied two goals, one in the first period and a power-play goal in the third, and two assists to reach the four-points in one night marker for the third time this year.

Mosley has a goal in each of Wisconsin's last four series, bringing his season total to 16 to go along with 35 points. He currently sits second on the Badgers' roster in goals and points, and he's tied for fifth in the Big Ten and 17th in the nation in points.
4 - LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers enter the exhibition game after earning a 7-3 win and a 6-1 loss against Notre Dame in its final regular season series of the year on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22.
In game one, the Badgers charged past the Fighting Irish, 7-3. Wisconsin's Ryland Mosley opened the scoring 8:05 into the first period. Jack Horbach, Owen Mehlenbacher and Zach Schulz also found the back of the net over the course of two minutes and 25 seconds to send the Badgers into the second period with a four-goal lead. Notre Dame struck twice early in the middle frame to cut the deficit and half, but Simon Tassy and Adam Pietila scored two goals in the course of 30 seconds at 11:44 and 12:14 of the second period, respectively, to regain UW's four-goal advantage. Both teams scored again in the third period on the power play with Mosley recording his second goal of the night to give Wisconsin a 7-3 victory.

On Saturday, UW fell, 6-1, in its regular-season finale. Notre Dame scored twice in the first period and again 7:44 into the second to take a 3-0 lead. At 16:44 of the second, Wisconsin's Anthony Kehrer got the Badgers on the board. The Irish scored three more times, including once in the second period and twice in the third, to take home a 6-1 victory.

After this weekend's exhibition game, the Badgers will begin postseason play with the Big Ten Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. The best-of-three tournament quarterfinals will take place Friday through Sunday, March 7-9, at various campus sites. UW is still awaiting its opponent, but it will finish sixth place in the conference and start the tournament on the road.
5 - SCOUTING TEAM USA: The U.S. Under-18 Team has a 3-13-0 record against NCAA Division I teams this year. They will play the USHL's Madison Capitols in Middleton on Friday night before playing at UW on Sunday.
Forward Cole McKinney leads the roster in points with 42 (17g, 25a) in 39 games played, while forward Will Moore leads with 19 goals (38 total points) in 45 games. Goaltender Harrison Boettiger has seven wins in 20 starts, accumulating a .880 save percentage and 3.87 goals-allowed on average.
