ILLINOIS ROAD TRIP: The Wisconsin men's tennis team will start its conference play on the road against Northwestern on Friday, March 7. The Badgers will travel south on Sunday, March 9 to face No. 20 ranked Illinois. First serve against Northwestern is set for 6 p.m. and Wisconsin will start at 12 p.m. against Illinois.

BADGERS DOWN GOLDEN EAGLES: Wisconsin took down in-state foe Marquette, 5-2 last Thursday. The Badgers secured the doubles point and saw four singles victories en route to the match win.
Two sophomore partnerships worked quickly at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take the 1-0 lead. Oliver Olsson and Tomas Zlatohlavek paired up for the eighth time this spring and took down Marquette's No. 1 duo, 6-2. At No. 3 doubles Matthew Fullerton and Collin Beduhn played together for just the second time this season, as they secured the 6-3 win.
Freshman Patrik Meszaros continued his strong debut season with a 6-4, 6-1 straight set victory at No. 3 singles. Junior Michael Minasyan outscored Marquette's Blake Roegner 6-4, 6-4 to take the win at No. 1 singles. Matthew Fullerton sealed the Wisconsin win with a comeback third set victory at No. 4 singles.
Sophomore Collin Beduhn made his spring singles debut at No. 5 singles and took the 6-3, 6-2 match victory to give Wisconsin the 5-2 win. -
KNOW YOUR OPPONENTS: Wisconsin is 42-69-3 in the all-time series against Northwestern. The Badgers will look to snap a 7-match losing streak against the Wildcats on Friday.
On Sunday, the Badgers will face Illinois for the 98th time. Illinois holds a 65-32 edge over Wisconsin in the all-time series. Illinois' Kenta Miyoshi is ranked No. 12 and William Mroz is ranked No. 48 in the March 4th ITA singles rankings. -
