Williams named to First-Team All-Big Ten and All-Defensive; Leuzinger earns Sportsmanship Honor
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin's Serah Williams and Natalie Leuzinger have each earned Big Ten recognition, with Williams securing First-Team All-Big Ten and All-Defensive Team honors, while Leuzinger was awarded Sportsmanship Honors, the conference announced Tuesday.
Williams, the only player in Division I averaging more than 19.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, secured her second career First-Team and All-Defensive Team honors. One of the most well-rounded players in college basketball, the junior also averages 2.5 assists and 2.3 blocks per game. She becomes the first Badger to earn multiple First-Team All-Big Ten honors since Jolene Anderson (2007-08), the fifth-ever to achieve this feat, and the first player in program history to be named to the All-Defensive Team twice in her career.
