MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin women's basketball head coach Robin Pingeton announced Wednesday the signing of Destiny Howell, a graduate guard from Howard University.
In the 2024-25 season, Howell started all 34 games for the Bison, averaging 14.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. She averaged 2.4 made three-pointers per game, hitting 34.3%Â (81-236) from beyond the arc. She recorded her first career double-double this season against Maryland Eastern Shore, posting 18 points and 11 rebounds. Howell also notched nine 20-point performances throughout the year.
Over her career, Howell has scored 1,461 points while shooting 36.5% (515-1409) from the field. She has been reliable from the charity stripe, converting 80.9% (199-246) of her free throws.
"I'm super excited to be a Badger and bring my New York swag and style of play to Wisconsin! Let's go!" said Howell.
A native of Queens, New York, Howell attended St. Francis Prep.
