
First three Wisconsin Football game times revealed

The 2025 season will kick off at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, Aug. 28 versus Miami (OH)
MADISON, Wis. – Times and TV designations were announced for the first three games of the 2025 Wisconsin Football season by national television networks on Thursday morning. UW will open the 2025 campaign with a Thursday night meeting with Miami (OH) on August 28, live on BTN at 8 p.m. CT.
Wisconsin has opened six of the last eight seasons with a night game dating back to 2017. The Badgers are 6-0 in those contests. Last fall, Wisconsin opened the 2024 season with an 8 p.m. Friday night kickoff and scored a 28-14 win over Western Michigan.
As part of the network announcements on Thursday, the Badgers learned kickoff times for meetings with Middle Tennessee (Sept. 6) and Alabama (Sept. 13). Wisconsin will take on Middle Tennessee at 3 p.m. CT at Camp Randall Stadium in Week 2, live on FS1. UW will battle Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa at 11 a.m. CT, broadcast by ESPN or ABC.

2025 football season tickets and group tickets are on sale now. Mini pack ticket options and single game tickets will be available in the coming weeks. Season tickets for the 2024 season sold out prior to the home opener and Camp Randall hosted six sellouts for the first time in more than 15 years.
