Badgers and Cougars to meet on Friday, Nov. 21 in Round of 32 rematch
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team announced a marquee game on its non-conference schedule on Thursday, adding a game against BYU in Salt Lake City.
The Badgers and Cougars will meet on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Delta Center, the home of the NBA's Utah Jazz, in a rematch of an NCAA tournament game last March.
"We're really excited that we're able to schedule this game with BYU," UW head coach Greg Gard said. "Our game last year was one of the best of the NCAA Tournament and I think both fan bases will enjoy seeing a rematch this season. We have always tried to challenge ourselves in the non-conference schedule to prepare the team for Big Ten play and beyond and this game certainly will do so."
The game will mark the fourth meeting between the Badgers and Cougars as UW leads the all-time series, 2-1, with the first matchup taking place in 1931. This year's matchup will be the first time the two teams face off in the state of Utah.
A start time and TV coverage will be announced at a later date, along with ticket information.
