MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin track and field program will send 10 Badgers back to Eugene, Oregon to compete at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, June 11-14 at Hayward Field.

The throwing pair of Taylor Kesner (javelin, discus) and Chloe Lindeman (hammer throw), along with Emma Kelley (800 meters), will represent UW on the women's side.
Hooper will be the first Badger to compete in Eugene as the Cumberland, Rhode Island, native will throw the hammer on Wednesday, June 11 at 3:30 p.m. CT. A 2024 Olympian for Australia, Spencer will toe the track at Hayward Field at 6:21 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 11 in the semifinal round of the 1500 meters. He eyes his first NCAA individual crown after finishing runner-up in the mile at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships and the runner-up in the 1500 meters at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships. The senior enters the weekend with the No. 8 time in the NCAA this year.
Williams will make his NCAA Outdoor Championships debut on Wednesday, June 11, at 7:41 p.m. CT in the 400 meters, coming off of his best season in his junior campaign. The sprinter currently holds the school record for the event with a time of 45.49 seconds, a time attained at the 44 Farms Team Invitational back in April. Williams finished in second at this year's Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
To round out the running on Wednesday, Casey and Hilby will each run in the 800 meters at 7:58 p.m. CT, as they each turned in the same time of 1:47.30 at the NCAA West First Round to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Casey is making his return to the big stage after getting there in his freshman season—looking to build off of a 21st-place finish from last year. Hilby qualified in just his first season donning the Cardinal and White, as both runners enter coming off of their personal bests at the NCAA West First Round, which ranks at No. 7 all-time in school history.
Swarens and White will take on the shot put on Wednesday night at 8:10 p.m. CT to complete a busy day for the Badgers. Swarens currently holds the No. 1 rank in the country in the shot put, a mark he reached at the Badger Challenge in early May—setting the school record with a heave of 70-1 ½ (21.37m). White follows closely behind, as he finished in third at the NCAA West First Round in the event while holding Wisconsin's second-farthest throw behind his fellow teammate.
The women's team will kick things off on Thursday, June 12, with Lindeman in the hammer throw—beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT. The Fulton, Illinois, native has shattered her own school record in the event twice this season, each coming at the Badger Challenge and the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. Her highest mark stands at 222-9 (67.89m), as she prepares to take on her first-ever NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Kesner will follow shortly after, entering as the only athlete in the country to be competing in both the javelin and the discus. The senior is slated to get her weekend started on Thursday in the javelin at 7:15 p.m. CT. Kesner recently earned a personal best in the event at the NCAA West First Round, tallying a mark of 171-10 (52.39m) to advance to No. 2 all-time in school history. It was more of the same in the discus just two days later, as the Highland, Illinois, native placed within the top-12 with a top toss of 189-8 (57.38m), which was also good for second all-time at UW. Kesner will take on the discus event on Saturday evening at 7:40 p.m. CT.
To complete the weekend for the Badgers, Kelley qualified for the 800 meters at the NCAA West First Round with a personal best, as she turned in a time of 2:01.87 to punch her ticket to Eugene.
