MADISON, Wis – The No. 5 ranked Wisconsin men's cross country team earned a perfect score of 15 points at the Badger Classic on Friday morning at the Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.
Junior
Micah Wilson led the Badgers with a win, crossing the line in 25 minutes, 19.9. Wilson was followed by a tight pack of teammates in
Liam Newhart,
Bryce Stachewicz, Johnny Linvingstone and
Nick Gilles, who rounded out the top-5 spots on the leaderboard, finishing within one second of each other.
Rounding out the day for the Badgers was sophomore
Christian de Vaal, who finished less than a second behind the pack with a time of 25:21.0.
